Footpaths Closed For Safety Reasons

Two footpaths in the Parish have had to be closed for serious safety reasons – one goes from Picnic Area to Wreay and the other from Garlands to Scotby.  Cumbria County Council are keeping the Parish Council informed.  At the moment they are still investing the extent (this is not being made easy due to the high level of the river)  of the damage on the path from Picnic Area to Wreay and on the other footpath legal action has been taken against those who caused the damage.
